Nominations for our 2027 Head Student team opened this week.
All Year 12 students have received an email outlining the nomination and application process, along with the key timelines involved. Students are welcome to nominate a peer or submit their own application.
Key dates are:
- 9 August – Nominations close. (Students can still apply after this date, but they may miss some of the communications and support provided throughout the application process.)
- 13 August – Informal Q&A session with the current Head Students.
- 23 August – Applications close.
Whānau and other students are also welcome to nominate a current Year 12 student. Anyone wishing to make a nomination, or who has questions about the process, can obtain an information sheet through their tutor, dean, or by contacting Michelle Anngow at m.anngow@kaiapoi.school.nz.
When encouraging students to consider applying, please remember that we are seeking leaders who inspire participation, uphold our school values, and promote excellence in its many forms. Leadership at Kaiapoi High extends well beyond academic achievement and sporting success, and we encourage applications from students with a wide range of strengths, experiences, and interests.
