Kaiapoi High School students were honoured at the 2025 Canterbury Chinese Language Learning Awards Ceremony, held at Burnside High School on Wednesday, 22nd October.
We are excited to share that our four KHS students received Excellent Learner Awards, recognizing their outstanding achievement in Chinese language study over the past year! These students were Liam Dalton Y12, Isaac Jefferies Y12, Lucy Mitchell-Lamont Y10, and Temperance Hardy Y10.
Their hard work and passion for language learning have not only led to academic success but have also significantly contributed to greater cultural understanding between New Zealand and China.
We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing them continue to shine in their language-learning journeys.
We are equally proud to announce that two of our international students received a Calligraphy Award, Vicky Tan Y11 and Yuina Nasu Y13 (who has left KHS to return to Japan).
