We are excited to introduce a new full-year Mandarin course for Year 10 students, starting in 2026. This course is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn another language and provides a pathway to studying NCEA Level 1 Mandarin in 2027.
Learning the world’s most spoken language opens up a world of opportunities, from future-proofing careers in business and technology to gaining a deep understanding of Chinese culture. Students may also have the chance to travel, like the group that visited China this year in partnership with the Confucius Institute.
