At our school, Community is one of our school values, and our International Department is actively nurturing this by forging strong ties with the Kaiapoi residential community.
We’re excited to announce a new long-term initiative, “Hands and Mind Together – Create and Analyse” (Hands and Mind), developed in collaboration with the Rewi Alley Foundation. This programme is specifically designed to encourage international students to engage more deeply with local residents and community life.

“Hands and Mind Together” aims to provide our students with unique opportunities to truly understand Kaiapoi, extending their learning and experiences beyond the school gates and into the wider community. While this is a collaborative community project, the International Department is proud to take the lead in driving this ongoing initiative.
