Last Thursday, our House Challenge Day was a resounding success, and we were fortunate that the weather held out beautifully for the entire event. With all four houses, Mataī, Kauri, Rimu, and Tōtara, getting stuck in, the day provided a fantastic opportunity for our Year 9 ākonga to bond with their tutor groups and teachers, fostering stronger connections within our school community from the outset.
Beyond the excitement and the fantastic costumes that brought a vibrant energy to the fields, we were especially proud of the incredible integrity shown by our students throughout the competition. Their house pride and positive spirit remained high until the very end, proving once again how much we can achieve when we come together as a team. This year’s House Challenge Day was a brilliant display of character and community that will leave us with many lasting memories.
Ngā mihi,
