On Tuesday the 25th of March the Level 2 Business Studies class went to Ara Institute of Technology for the Spark Tank Event run by the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES).
Our business groups had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to business owners and mentors in the Canterbury region to get feedback on their products. It was a great networking opportunity as some students now have contacts to get their products manufactured.
Young Enterprise is a great organisation that helps potentially fund our students’ businesses and see their businesses become the best they can be. Our groups have already applied for funding which we will see the results of soon and there are more opportunities to come so watch this space!
