This year was another massive and successful season for Netball at Kaiapoi High School, with 11 teams proudly representing us in the North Canterbury competition. Our teams included three Year 9 teams, three Year 10 teams, and five senior teams.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all coaches, managers, and supporters who gave their time and energy to our Netball programme. Your dedication allows our students to take the court each week, develop their skills, and enjoy the game we all love.

Each team presented two awards on the night, Contribution to Netball and either Most Improved or Most Valuable Player, recognising the hard work, growth, and commitment of our players. Congratulations to all award recipients listed below, as well as those who were selected for representative teams throughout the season!

A special mention also goes to our student umpires, who gave up their time to support the game and ensure our competitions ran smoothly. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

We’re extremely proud to share that Mereani Drulidruli and Mickey Roberts were two of just 50 girls selected to attend the Mainland Netball Advanced Camp for 2025. Both players are now awaiting results that could see them earn a Netball New Zealand trial in 2026. This is an amazing accomplishment and testament to their hard work and talent.

Finally, we would like to acknowledge and thank our Year 13 players who are finishing their time with Kaiapoi High School Netball. Thank you for your years of service, leadership, and dedication.  As you move forward into new opportunities, we wish you every success and hope that you continue to enjoy the game in the years to come.

A huge thank you to all players, parents, and whānau for your ongoing support this year. Your commitment both on and off the court is what makes our netball community so special. We’re incredibly proud of how far our teams have come and look forward to another exciting season ahead in 2026!
