On Tuesday, 3rd June, 13 Peer Support Leaders returned to their former school, Kaiapoi North, to lead a dynamic two-hour session of adventure-based learning activities with 65 enthusiastic Year 8 students.
The school hall was alive with energy as the leaders guided students through a variety of interactive challenges designed to promote teamwork and confidence. Several Kaiapoi North teachers stopped by to greet their former pupils, expressing pride in how far they’ve come.
For the Peer Support Leaders, the visit was a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Many enjoyed reconnecting with their primary school roots and were especially delighted to see their murals still displayed proudly in the school hall.
