POOL

On Saturday 13th September, the South Island Secondary Schools’ Regional Tournament was held at the Richmond Club. Our KHS team claimed the Pool4Schools Trophy by just one point over Papanui High. This was the first time in nine years our school has held the trophy, with the last win back in 2016.

Out of a total of 32 players, Korbin achieved runner-up in the overall Singles competition, which was an outstanding personal result.

A huge thank you goes to the Kaiapoi Club, and especially to Ronnie Symonds & Ron Turner, for their ongoing coaching and support.

Team: Korbin Symonds-Shakespeare, Alyssa Bailey, Lilly Symonds-Brown & Evan McSherry
