This year, we were excited to introduce our Peer Support Leaders, who warmly welcomed 220 Year 9 students to Kaiapoi High School. Supported by 100 Year 12 and 13 Peer Support Leaders, our new students were guided through their transition into high school life at Kaiapoi High School.

Orientation Day was a huge success. Our Peer Support Leaders, alongside staff, led team-building activities, icebreakers, and school tours. These activities helped students feel more comfortable in their new environment and supported the development of positive connections across the school.

The Peer Support Orientation Day set a positive tone for the year ahead. We are committed to supporting our Year 9 students as they transition into high school life.

A big thank you to our Peer Support Leaders for their energy, commitment, and enthusiasm in welcoming our newest students. We are looking forward to the upcoming Adventure Days.
