To purchase the 2026 Year Book, please deposit $30.00 in to the Kaiapoi High School bank account by 1st September 2026:

2026 Year Books will be given out in class to junior students and collected from the main school office by senior students on the last week of school, after the seniors have gone on study leave.
If you have a credit balance and would like the credit to be transferred to pay for a Year Book, please let accounts know by emailing: accounts@kaiapoi.school.nz
STUDENTS LEAVING SCHOOL DURING SCHOOL HOURS
If your child needs to leave school during the school day (for an appointment, etc.), could parents/caregivers please contact the school via the SchoolBridge app, or by ringing the school absence line 03 375 5004 on the morning of the appointment. This streamlines the process for your child when they come to the office to sign out. If the appointment has been made after your child has left for school, please allow sufficient time to be able to get the message to your child when contacting the school.
To help us accurately record student attendance in line with Ministry of Education requirements, we ask that parents/caregivers please provide a clear reason when notifying the school of an absence. Unfortunately, messages such as “away today” or “has an appointment” do not give us enough information to apply the correct attendance code.
If your child becomes unwell or is injured during the school day, they need to report to the office or health clinic (open Mondays & Wednesdays) and staff will ring home.
