In March, our cultural exchange programme welcomed a group of students from Kanagawa University Junior High School in Japan. Their enthusiasm and energy were truly inspiring, and they matched the passion of our KHS students. The visit created a memorable and positive experience for everyone involved.
In addition, I personally visited a school in China that is interested in cooperating with Kaiapoi High School. During discussions, both parties explored the challenges and opportunities ahead. We concluded by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a friendship and to lay the foundation for future collaboration. While I was in China, I also had the opportunity to meet other organisations that were interested in studying in New Zealand.
