Level One History students embarked on a trip to Godley Head to learn more about the experiences of New Zealanders on the home front during World War Two. Students had the opportunity to explore a range of structures, including an engine room, storage bunkers, and gun emplacements. Furthermore, students made the trek down to Boulder Bay, enjoying the amazing vistas along the way.
This was a fantastic opportunity for students to extend their learning and to gain valuable primary data.
